Building SUNDIALS

SUNDIALS is a suite of non-linear solvers for NLA, ODE and DAE problems. It includes IDA which is the preferred solver for dynamic problems.

Building SUNDIALS should be simple with GCC. Use the configure and make commands. For explicit instructions for Windows, see Building SUNDIALS on Windows.

If you are on an RPM-based distribution, you should be able to use our RPM version of SUNDIALS available on this wiki.

If you are on a recent Debian-based distribution, you should be able to use the standard package. See Building ASCEND for more details on specific platforms.
